| Mode of Action | Alpha-cypermethrin attacks the nerve system of insects and mites, causing paralysis within hours. The paralysis can not be reversed. Abamectin is active once eaten (stomach poison) although there is some contact activity. Maximum mortality occurs in 3-4 days. |
Alpha-cypermethrin can be used to control pests on crops such as cotton, vegetables, fruit trees, tea plants, soybeans and sugar beets. The control effect of LEPIDOPTERA, and a half, Diptera, ORTHOPTERA, COLEOPTERA, tassel and HYMENOPTERA in cotton and fruit trees were effect. It has special effects on cotton bollworm, Pectinophora gossypiella, aphis gossypii, litchi and citrus Phyllocnistis citrella.
